Columbia were an indie-rock band based in Cardiff, that were together from 2019-23. The band was formed by school friends Ben (lead guitar) and Craig (vocals/rhythm guitar), with drummer Chris Webber.
Over the course of their time together the band released their debut album Embrace the Chaos (2022), described by Edge of Arcady as 'equal parts Led Zepplin and Oasis at their swaggering peak'. The album included a number singles 'full of thumping drums, rumbling bass lines, epic guitar riffs that were destined for stadiums' (ThisIsTheMusic).
Unfortunately, the band didn't quite get to the stadiums, disbanding after rousing performances at the ShiiineOn Weekender in November 2022 and finally at Cwmfest, Aberdare in September 2023. They leave behind a catalogue of music that should possibly have seen them hit the highest highs.
